Love learning? It’s enjoyable whether or not you feel it will determine your whole life’s course. If you’ve been checking in with me, you realize that I started learning art late in life, about 5 years ago. Why should anyone bother about learning art without having a bunch of decades to develop mastery?
Because I don’t have to make excuses. I’m free from needing to justify my passions as long as I’m not hurting anyone.
One of my scheduled interviews is with John English, artist and teacher superb, and co-founder of an illustration academy. The way he talks about art and the personal journey each of us takes resounds with every creative endeavor I’ve ever tasted.
I’m not trying to get accepted into Art School, but I have gained a college-like benefit from the classes and community.
If you know a young person considering a career in art– or an older person like me who loves learning, PLEASE share this informal video packed full of concise and mind-blowing ideas.
