Here’s a thank you and some news and two images from photographers I admire–and a greeting video. The first photo is of my dog, Harley, and me singing to the banjo. @JudyWeiserOstiguy

And the second is by @everythingeasier, Sweetie Berry.

I think of these two photos as then and now with a space of about four decades between.
In the top photo, I was living in a handbuilt home outside of Winslow, Arkansas.–Yes, my Garden Way Cart was accidentally shipped to Winslow, Arizona, but the song with the line about a flatbed Ford slowing down was very popular in their shipping department.–
The second pic was taken last week at a brunch and reading by @Martina McGowan at a dear friend’s home. Sweetie Berry @everythingeasier snapped it by making funny faces and sounds which made me laugh.
Why do I mention them? Well, I’m going back to Winslow, my old hometown for over 10 years, for the annual Winfest Festival. Last year I sang at the 40th anniversary. And this year we’ll have a booth with music, and artwork, and I’ll be reading for kids and adults from my intergenerational novel, Me and Miss Henrietta. It’ll be great fun.
Hope to see you there. And here’s a video message from Crow… Hugs ya’ll
