I must admit feeling some anxiety before the road trip. . . considering that things always change and expectations can lead to disappointment. My anticipated disappointments did not appear. The peace and open skies of the region are like an embrace. And the great company of friends and family makes all the difference. The creative abandon in Santa Fe and Albuquerque is entertaining and inspiring.
Back home from the 51st Kerrville Music Festival
For 51 years there’s been a tradition, a migration to the meadows of the Texas Hill Country—to Quiet Valley Ranch. Tents, campers, RVs, and tepees settle shoulder to shoulder like old friends and family. And life continues at the end of May just as it did last year and the year before and the year before that.
